    The success we have achieved for and with our ocean freight, trading and shipping, and government customers stems from our ability to provide innovative technology and services that produce AI-powered, actionable insights.

    Customers choose Windward and then stay with us for the cost-savings, greater efficiency, strategic decision-making, and the ability to rapidly facilitate global trade. 

    Our Journey & Customer-Centric Approach

    We began our journey mainly collaborating with government agencies and meeting their unique needs. That’s still an important part of what we do, but as our discussions and relationships expanded throughout the maritime ecosystem, we recognized that the results we were helping govt. agencies achieve could be extended to other sectors. 

    This realization led to a strategic expansion into the trading and shipping sector, where Windward’s Maritime AI™ platform was a natural fit. More recently, we’ve established ourselves as a rising leader in the realm of ocean freight and container tracking, a move that marks another significant evolution in our ongoing journey. 

    One of the standout features of our customer-centric approach is our ability to provide actionable insights. By tapping into vast amounts of maritime and logistics data and leveraging advanced analytics, Windward’s Maritime AI™ platform enables customers to make informed and strategic decisions. 

    Whether it’s eliminating false negatives and false positives to facilitate quick trading, flagging potential risks, or offering the most accurate ETAs and exception management for container shipping, the platform is designed to put the power of Maritime AI™ into the hands of the customers. 

    Our Windward User Group allows customers  to optimize existing workflows, learn from colleagues’ experiences, and gain new skills. And Windward’s Customer Success Team is also always there to support our customers, whether it be via training sessions, or on how to implement our latest features.

    The maritime and supply chain ecosystems change rapidly, meaning you need agility and flexibility, which results from understanding past, present, and future trends, and possessing a technology base that empowers you to react quickly and strategically. 

    Windward frequently launches new features and updates to provide maximum value to our customers in this dynamic landscape, which has been a key factor in our success. After Russia invaded Ukraine, upending the global ecosystem and triggering cascading regulations and sanctions, we launched a Russia Sanctions Compliance solution and worked (and are still working!) tirelessly to offer insights and analyze new trends. 

    Windward’s recently-launched Route Deviation Alerts is another example. It can improve supply chain management following the outbreak of the Red Sea crisis
