Your Mission

As our Experienced Product Manager for Data Platform, you’ll be pivotal in driving the evolution of our core data platform. Reporting to the Director of Product Platform, you’ll architect the foundation of Windward’s competitive advantage and make an impact across multiple product verticals and internal teams:

  • Lead Platform Transformation: Define and execute a strategic roadmap that transforms our core data platform by integrating advanced AI and GenAI capabilities to drive automation, advanced analytics, and intelligent decision-making.
  • Design Intelligent Data Flows: Optimize robust data flows between platform components, customer-facing AI products, and external systems—ensuring seamless data delivery for our machine learning pipelines and GenAI applications.
  • Bridge Products and Platform: Collaborate with product verticals and internal stakeholders to identify platform needs specific to AI and GenAI initiatives, translating high-level vision into detailed product requirements.
  • Champion Data Quality: Develop a platform aimed at consolidating and standardizing maritime data to ensure uncompromising data quality and proactive reliability management.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of data platforms product management experience
  • Proven success developing and optimizing AI/ML-powered data pipelines and GenAI applications
  • Experience building internal tools for data tagging and editing at scale
  • Strategic mindset for translating complex technical requirements into clear roadmaps
  • Skilled in leveraging GenAI tools for platform enhancement and product development
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to work cross-functionally
