Windward AI, a leading maritime artificial intelligence company, is seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative to join our team in Singapore. As an SDR, you will play an instrumental role in expanding our market presence in the Asia-Pacific region by identifying and qualifying potential customers for our AI-powered maritime domain awareness and risk management platform.

Responsibilities:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and Windward AI’s product offerings.
- Proactively identify and contact potential clients in the shipping, financial, logistics, and supply chain industries, Reach out to potential clients through social selling, cold calling, and email outreach to generate interest and drive engagement.
- Develop effective and personalised email sequences and cadences for identified customer profiles.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop and execute targeted outreach campaigns, to ensure quality leads.
- Engage and follow up with inbound leads from Marketing, nurturing their interest and converting them into qualified meetings and sales opportunities.
- Prioritise discovery efforts to thoroughly understand client needs, challenges, and capabilities, ensuring a tailored and effective sales approach.
- Coordinate and schedule online product demonstrations for the assigned Sales Director, ensuring a seamless handoff and engaging customer experience.
- Working closely with the Head of Commercial Sales, APAC to support the sales pipeline growth through targeted prospecting activities.
- Maintain accurate information, prospecting, and records of all activities in our CRM system.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience as a Business Development Representative,, or in a similar role, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
- Familiarity with industries such as maritime, shipping, logistics, and supply chain is preferred.
- Proven ability to develop greenfield territories, successfully identifying and acquiring new clients to drive business growth.
- Skilled in delivering clear, engaging, and professional presentations that effectively communicate value and capture the audience’s interest.
- A strong hunting mentality with a robust Sales DNA, consistently demonstrating success in identifying and closing new business opportunities.
- Excellent research and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software, GenAI, and sales engagement tools.
- Familiarity with lead generation platforms such as Outreach, Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Amplemarket.
- Fluency in English; additional languages such as Mandarin are a plus.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to exceed targets
