Do you know your way around B2B social, but can also spot a viral meme from a mile away? We’re looking for an innovative Social Media Manager who can blend creativity with strategy to make waves in the maritime industry.

We are looking for a proven social media manager to generate B2B and B2G inbound leads, increase our follower counts and engagement across channels, spike community engagement, and help strengthen the company’s position as a trusted brand and thought leader.  

The successful candidate is extremely creative, lives and breathes social media across platforms, can independently start and engage in online industry discussions, and is able to create and edit video clips for various channels. Superb organizational skills are a must – we are a fast-paced company and the role requires engaging with multiple teams simultaneously, enforcing deadlines, etc. 

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, create, and publish innovative content on our social channels (LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and Instagram)
  • Build community by engaging with prospects, users, and community influencers; and lead industry discussions 
  • Maintain the social media calendar 
  • Collaborate with the Design, Sales, Product Marketing, HR, and Management teams 
  • Develop and execute strategies to engage and grow our social media audience and distribution channels, boost brand awareness, and generate leads
  • Use tracking and analytics tools to optimize post and campaign performance, and improve future strategies 
  • Advantage: the ability to generate long-form content and lead creative initiatives, such as writing video scripts 

Requirements

  • An English speaker with three-four years of B2B social media experience
  • Proven history of generating leads, growing follower counts, and driving engagement
  • Must show evidence of some of your most creative and impactful campaigns, and the impact they generated  
  • Excellent writing and editorial skills, with strong communication and collaboration capabilities
  • Ability to independently create social media visuals via Canva, or other tools 
  • Video creation and AI tool skills 
  • Capable of measuring the impact of strategy and content pieces, via tools such as Hootsuite, HubSpot, and Google Analytics
  • Strong eye for graphic design and Canva mastery 
  • Goal-driven and self-motivated team player
