Windward.ai is a global leader in maritime risk analytics, helping organizations make smarter, faster decisions by turning complex maritime data into clear, actionable insights. Our predictive intelligence and real-time insights help public sector stakeholders worldwide gain actionable visibility into maritime activity, supporting mission-critical objectives across security, enforcement, compliance, and operational efficiency.

We are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to advance strategic partnerships and drive early-stage pipeline generation across public sector customers globally. This role sits at the front of the public sector revenue engine and is critical to building a qualified pipeline through strong discovery, clear solution articulation, and confident live conversations with government stakeholders.

What you’ll do

  • Source and qualify opportunities across government and public sector organizations
  • Research agencies and key stakeholders to drive relevant, contextual outreach
  • Conduct outbound prospecting via email, phone, and LinkedIn
  • Initiate and manage first conversations with prospects, focusing on problem discovery and qualification, primarily through live calls
  • Clearly communicate Windward’s value in the context of public sector use cases and operational challenges
  • Confidently handle objections and guide conversations toward next steps
  • Qualify opportunities before handing off to the sales team
  • Use AI tools to prepare call talking points, research accounts, and continuously improve performance
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and provide clear visibility into pipeline activity


Requirements


  • Experience as an SDR in B2B/B2G SaaS contribute to high revenue pipeline generation
  • Native-level English with strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Additional languages are a plus, particularly Arabic.
  • Confidence speaking with senior stakeholders across different cultures and regions
  • Experience working with public sector or government-oriented organizations is a major plus
  • Curiosity about regulated environments, policy-driven decision-making, and security or compliance challenges
  • Leverage AI to improve research and outbound messaging
